Re: 'Federal government must back transit funding,' Editorial and 'Note to Harper: urban votes required to form majority,' Behind the Headlines, Sept. 26.
In both the editorial and an opinion piece by David Soknacki, the current federal government is criticized for acting in a manner that is consistent with the constitution. Both pieces favour action by the federal government that is inconsistent with the constitution and, by federal intrusion involved, is contrary to the wishes of both Quebec and the west.
If The Mirror wants the constitution changed it should say so. And by the way, if the Ontario government wants the constitution changed it can propose changes.
